The Orienteering Club for Berkshire and Surrounding Areas
Courses and Maps
Training activity using a sprint specification map of the University of Reading Campus.
A top area for sprint orienteering, previously used in the JK international event.
There will be several courses to choose from. Three short-loop sprint courses (~1.3 km) and a longer sprint (2.6 km) to challenge your route choice skills. Should appeal to beginners and experts alike. You can run several loops.
Another course is designed for beginner juniors. The junior course and 3 short loops do not have road crossings, except some dead ends with almost no traffic. Nevertheless, runners should be alert to possibility of a car.
