12 December 2021: Entries Open for the Concorde Chase Weekend 2022

With 7 weeks to go, entries are now open for our major weekend of orienteering - the Concorde Chase Weekend. 4 December 2021: Sunshine for our Bramshill Event

This morning the weather was lovely with bright sunshine - good conditions for our event at Bramshill. Recent rain gave us some wet and muddy paths but orienteers can cope with that! For those who came, we hope you enjoyed tackling the courses. 19 November 2021: Join us for the Concorde Chase Weekend 2022

BKO will be staging an outstanding weekend of orienteering on the weekend of the 29th/30th January 2022.  Combining a challenging UK Urban League event at Bracknell on the Saturday with the 42nd Concorde Chase National Event on the Sunday, this promises to be a great attraction for orienteers of all abilities.  For initial details, see the Concorde Chase Weekend Flier. Entries will open in early December with pre-entry only.

17 November 2021: Entries Open for Bramshill Saturday Event

We return to the Bramshill Plantation for our December Saturday event on Saturday 4th December.  As part of the COVID precuations, the event will be pre-entry only with entries closing on Wedneday 1st December.  Entries are now open on Fabian4. The BKO summer 2021 maprun series has now completed 5 events  with interim results here.   Well done to David Dwyer, a new member of BKO who is leading the series.

15 August 2021 - BKO teams compete in the NWO Relays

A small group of enthusiasts travelled to Swindon today to take part in a relay event organised by North Wiltshire Orienteers. It is an annual fixture and this year was based at Lydiard Park on the outskirts of Swindon. There were three BKO teams taking part .... [Click on title to view]

Berkshire maprun series 2021 continues

The Berkshire maprun series got off to a quiet start in July and is now contnuing with a last chance to run Maidenhead North this week and and a new maprun on Crown Woods Bracknell until mid August.

5 July 2021: BKO Juniors Win Yvette Baker Shield!

The Yvette Baker competition is an annual national team event for juniors open to all British orienteering clubs. It consists of two sections - the 'Trophy' for clubs with large numbers of junior members and the 'Shield' for clubs with a smaller number. Berkshire Orienteers comes within the 'Shield' section.
