14 March 2022 - BKO Win our CompassSport Trophy Heat

Fantastic news that BKO won the CompassSport Trophy heat yesterday with a clear lead. When all the points were counted, the final results were the following: BKO 1282, SARUM 1254, SOC 1253, NWO 1201, BADO 1041. 13 March 2022 - BKO stage the regional CompassSport Cup heat

Rushall Woods was the venue for the regional heat for the 2022 CompassSport Cup and Trophy event.  Full results are eagerly awaited.  Check the 'results' tab to see them when they become available.  In the meantime, photos taken at the event by David Jukes are now available in a Flickr album.  See: BKO - CompassSport Cup Heat.

6 March 2022 - Congratulations to BKO runners at British Middle Championships

Many congratulations to Martin Wilson, winning M75 in the British Middle Championships held today at Rushmere Country Park, near Milton Keynes. Also top ten performances by Adam Methven (3rd on M18) and Elliot Vaughan (6th on M12). Great results on a challenging area packed with controls!

Looking forward to the Compass Sport Trophy heat hosted by BKO next Sunday and the British Long and Relay Championships at the end of the month. 

30 January 2022: A Successful Concorde Chase Weekend

BKO have this weekend successfully staged two major national events - both part of the 2022 UK Orienteering League (UKOL). On Saturday we held an urban league event using the complex estates of Birch Hill and Great Hollands in Bracknell. 14 December 2021: Concorde Chase Weekend Gains UKOL 2022 Status

We are pleased to announce that the Concorde Chase Weekend urban and forest events have both been selected for inclusion in the 2022 UK Orienteering League (UKOL), further enhancing the quality of the weekend. We recommend that competitors avoid last-minute entry, some courses may now reach maximum numbers.

12 December 2021: Entries Open for the Concorde Chase Weekend 2022

With 7 weeks to go, entries are now open for our major weekend of orienteering - the Concorde Chase Weekend. 4 December 2021: Sunshine for our Bramshill Event

This morning the weather was lovely with bright sunshine - good conditions for our event at Bramshill. Recent rain gave us some wet and muddy paths but orienteers can cope with that! For those who came, we hope you enjoyed tackling the courses. 19 November 2021: Join us for the Concorde Chase Weekend 2022

BKO will be staging an outstanding weekend of orienteering on the weekend of the 29th/30th January 2022.  Combining a challenging UK Urban League event at Bracknell on the Saturday with the 42nd Concorde Chase National Event on the Sunday, this promises to be a great attraction for orienteers of all abilities.  For initial details, see the Concorde Chase Weekend Flier. Entries will open in early December with pre-entry only.

17 November 2021: Entries Open for Bramshill Saturday Event

We return to the Bramshill Plantation for our December Saturday event on Saturday 4th December.  As part of the COVID precuations, the event will be pre-entry only with entries closing on Wedneday 1st December.  Entries are now open on Fabian4.
