Berkshire Orienteers is staging a weekend of Trail Orienteering which incorporates the 2024 national TrailO championships. Summary Details
Travel/Parking

  The campus is on several bus routes from Reading Railway Station. For example, Route 21 has a regular Sunday service every 20-30 minutes. For more details, see: Reading Buses.

 Cars: Enter the campus from the Shinfield Road (A327) via Grid Ref: SU728719. Nearest Postcode: RG2 7BW.  Parking is the second car park on the left in about 100m - Car Park 1a.

 
Event Centre  In the Univeristy Sports Pavillion (just 50m from the car park); includes use of the pavillion toilets

Terrain  Complex university campus including main departmental buildings and modern halls of residence with some extensive parkland around a central lake.
Course

 TempO course 

Embargoes  To ensure a fair competition, all those wishing to be competitive at the Championships are expected to observe the terrain embargo.  Details can be seen on the British Orienteering website at: Whiteknights, Uni of Reading – Google My Maps.  However, others are welcome to participate in the event but will be considered non-competitive for BTOC.
