It has been a good weekend for BKO member Ian Cooper.  On Saturday at the British Sprint Championships held at the University of Bath, Ian took first position in the M75 class. The multi-level buildings provided a complex challenge but Ian was able to interpret the map at speed and found the quickest route to the contols. Our photo (taken by Scott Bailey) shows Ian on the podium with his medal.  The sprints were followed today by the British Middle Championships held at Stockhill in the Mendip Hills. Intense concentration was needed to navigate the complex terrain of pits, depressions, rock outcrops, long gullies and small hills. Here again Ian came out top in his class with a lead of over 5 minutes from his rivals. Another podium! Congratulations to Ian on his double victory.
