Originally scheduled for the Spring but delayed due to nesting birds, the 2019 Southern Championships were today staged by Bristol Orienteering Klubb (BOK) in the Forest of Dean.  And there were some great results from club members with several podium positions.  Once again Martin Wilson showed great form in taking the M70 title but towards the other end of the age groups Adam Methven took the M14 title.  Also gaining podium positions were Amelia Wing (2nd in W14), Maddie Woodcock (2nd in W12) and Natalie Wing (3rd in W12). Congratulations to them all.  Berkshire Orienteers will be staging the 2020 Southern Championnships near Aldershot at the end of January - lets hope they can repeat these performances then!
