Here is the latest club news including the results of the Club Championships based on the results of last weekend's regional event.

Club Championships 2016

Last Sunday’s regional event, SCOL4, at Ashurst Wood / Matley in the New Forest was used to decide the Club Champions for 2016.  Following the publication of the results on the national database, ranking points have been allocated and so a complete list of ‘Champions’ can now be published:

• Women’s Champion:              Annika Greenwood
• Men’s Champion:                    David Jukes
• Junior Champion (Girls):         Anna Methven
• Junior Champion (Boys):         Adam Methven
• Handicap Champion:              Mel Golding

The top handicap results are as follows showing how Mel had an emphatic win:

Saturday 31 December - Winter Series & Youth League Event

Before you get too involved with Christmas, please ensure that this event is in your diary.  Our next Saturday event is using the Whiteknights University of Reading campus on New Year’s Eve.  We will be providing three courses – Short, Medium and Long. They will be included in the Youth League - details awaited.  Registration will be in the new Sports Pavilion and there will be toilets available.  For more details, see Whiteknights Event.

Sunday 29 January 2017 - The Concorde Chase

Entries for our annual Concorde Chase event are now live on Fabian4 and Fiona has the helpers code.  So, before you consider entering, please consider helping and sending your offer to Fiona (ladybiker729@aol.com) with an indication as to when you would like to run and your preferred jobs.  She is also looking for a good number of control collectors who can run late before collecting controls.
