ORGANISERS Comments
Thank you to everyone who came along to Burghfield for the BKO event this morning (Saturday 27th April). I’m sorry you didn’t get beautiful spring sunshine for your runs but at least the threatened rain didn’t materialise! I spoke to a number of you before and after your courses and you seemed to enjoy yourselves. Thank you to Simon for planning the courses which were well received and certainly challenging!
We had many more entries than we had anticipated and thank you for bearing with us, especially with car parking (which was very tight!) and during the busy period at the start.
It was great to see so many newcomers and we hope you had a good time and want to come to more events in future. We hope you got the help/instruction you needed and any feedback on how you found it/how things could improve would be welcome to events@bko.org.uk. If you’re keen to do more, joining the club is a great way to keep up to date with events, get involved and meet other club members. Local membership is just £7 per year. For more details, contact the membership secretary on membership@bko.org.uk.
Finally, thank you to the fabulous BKO team of helpers who all pulled together to help make things run smoothly.
LOST PROPERTY - A digital watch was found on the light green/short blue course. If it’s yours, contact me on events@bko.org.uk
Now for a sit down and a cup of tea - phew :)
