3 April: BKO Update - Special

Great news - Katy Stubbs has been awarded this year's prestigious Silva Award. The annual award is made to a person considered to: 'have made a very significant contribution to orienteering over a period of years, with an emphasis on ‘field' activities rather than committee work.' The BKO Committee decided that this certainly applied to Katy and submitted a nomination. At this afternoon's AGM of British Orienteering, it was announced that Katy had been selected as the 2014 winner. Congratulations to Katy! The photos shows Katy receiving the award certificate from President of BOF - Martin Ward.
