Results are in from yesterday's British Middle Distance Championships!

Mapping is the one of the most rewarding and enjoyable roles. Not only does it improve your navigation skills, but it can also provide you with a different and new type of orienteering challenge.

As agreed at the AGM 2023, from 1 May 2024 British Orienteering would like to offer an exclusive part-year Membership to new members.

The GBR teams for the Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) and the European Youth Orienteering Championships (EYOC) are announced.

The Orienteering Foundation is a charity that promotes and supports orienteering, to bring all the benefits this amazing sport has to offer the people of the UK.

We are able to announce the full panels of selectors for 2024. These panels choose the athletes to represent Great Britain at international races.

Following this weekend's British Orienteering Championships 2024, we spoke to Weekend Coordinator Duncan Archer (Lakeland Orienteering Club) to learn more about the planning process for this year's event and his highlights from the weekend. 

The British Orienteering Championships 2024 continued today, with the Relay Championships taking place in Hutton Mulgrave and Skelder Woods. Well done to all teams who entered and participated - here are the provisional results!

Today the British Orienteering Championships 2024 commenced in Whitby, North Yorkshire with the Long Distance race at Mulgrave Woods. We are pleased to share the provisional results.

The annual Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering took place from 29 March – 1 April 2024 in the heart of the East Midlands. In this blog, we reflect on the incredible efforts of the volunteers who hosted this year’s event and share some of the key moments from each day.
