Last night a neighbouring club, Thames Valley OC, hosted the annual British Night Championships in the Hambleden Estate, just to the NE of Henley-on-Thames. As a 'local' event it was an opportunity for some club members to give night orienteering a try and to compete on a high quality area against some of the UK's top night specialists.  And for BKO's Trish Monks, her first experience of night orienteering was rewarded with third place and a chance to stand on the podium in the W45 class.  Trish is a relatively newcomer to the sport but has made great progess in the last two years.
