Swinley East Signposted from the A332 Swinley Rd at GR SU904660 What 3 words ///suffice.bond.owner Once you have turned into Buttersteep Rise, follow the orienteering signs 800m via forest roads to the event car park. Please drive slowly because some courses cross this track.

Terrain |
Runnable forest with areas of heathland. Generally flat terrain with areas of finer contour detail. There is forestry work in the area. Please keep strictly out of the out of bounds areas marked (new tree planting etc). Due to recent forestry work there are unmapped vehicle tracks / changes to vegetation / new ditches in places. Bracken is dying back, but still high in some places.

Courses |
Brown 9.8 km, 85m Course lengths and climbs. Start and finish are at opposite ends of the parking area and only 300m apart. SIAC dibber collection is from the enquiries tent which will be next to download and the finish (North end of car park). If you have your own SIAC you can proceed directly to the start. White, Yellow and Orange do not cross any roads. The other courses cross the entrance track - pay attention to cars on this track. There is no marshalled road crossing, but the track is straight with good visibility. The track section nearest assembly is marked out of bounds on the courses. Starts in blocks 10:30-12:30. If you miss your start block, do not worry we will fit you in. It is a punching start and finish. The other controls on the course are contactless SIAC enabled. Courses close at 14:30. Please report to the download tent even if you have not finished your course. Weather forecast: Cloudy but dry. Enjoy it!
