To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the club (originally the 'Reading Orienteering Club'), a special edition of the club's Newsletter has been prepared and distributed to members. As this may be of wider interest, we have uploaded the pdf version to the club website where it can be downloaded. It is not intended to provide a comprehensive history of the club but to give an interesting insight into a selection of topics illustrating aspects of the club's history. In particular, various early maps have been included to illustrate the rapid transition from early OS photocopies to 3- and then 5-colour maps.
