8 April: BKO Update

Despite a rather gloomy start to the weekend, the weather improved and allowed the Easter JK Festival of Orienteering in the Lake District to be enjoyed by those who participated.  From BKO, the best result was from Adam Methven, our youngest member at the event. He just missed out on a podium place (coming 4th) at Friday's sprint but did extremely well in the woods on Saturday with a second place in M10. On Sunday he even went one better - with a win. Overall, over the two days he took second place. Another great run on Sunday was from Martin Wilson who won the M65 class on the day. Congratulations to them both!  More details in the next Newsletter.
