We perhaps should not have chosen the hottest day of the year (so far) to stage our event at Lower Earley but, despite the heat, orienteers still tackled our Short, Medium and Long courses today. Once again, BKO contributed to the annual Berkshire Sports Games by running the orienteering component of this multisport day. Based at Bisham Abbey, schools which have made it through the qualifying rounds in each district council area compete in the final. ….
The May issue of the Berkshire Orienteers Newsletter is now available for members. Those members having the pdf version should have recieved copies by e-mail over the weekend. The printed copies were available for collection at the Rushall Woods event on Sunday but, if you missed the event or did not notice the box, all remaining copies are being posted today. In line with club policy, all previous issues are made available on this website so non-members can now see the March 2019 issue which has just been added to the site - see the Newsletter tab at the top of the page.
