The July issue of the club's Newsletter was available for collection at yesterday's event. Pdf versions were sent out on Thursday. Those not collected will be in the post on Monday and should arrive with members on Tuesday or Wednesday. As we head into the summer holiday season, please remember to write reports on any orienteering events that you attend ready for the September issue. Once again, BKO contributed to the annual Berkshire Sports Games by running the orienteering component of this multisport day. Based at Bisham Abbey, schools which have made it through the qualifying rounds in each district council area compete in the final. ….

13 May 2019 - BKO Newsletter May 2019 now distributed

The May issue of the Berkshire Orienteers Newsletter is now available for members.  Those members having the pdf version should have recieved copies by e-mail over the weekend.  The printed copies were available for collection at the Rushall Woods event on Sunday but, if you missed the event or did not notice the box, all remaining copies are being posted today.  In line with club policy, all previous issues are made available on this website so non-members can now see the March 2019 issue which has just been added to the site - see the Newsletter tab at the top of the page.

12 May 2019 - Rushall Woods at its best

Today we staged our regional South Central Orienteering League Event (SCOL6) in Rushall Woods near Bradfield. It was a glorious day - warm and sunny - and the woods were at their best for orienteering. Although the bluebells were past their best, they were still giving plenty of colour.
